The only thing scary about my Halloween costume this year was how much hairspray I used.
Well, that and my improper use of fake eyelashes. Who knew extra glue was required? At least I managed to avoid losing one in my drink.
Baron is either a hippie or Jesus. He’s the spitting image of JC with his hair down, which always freaks me out if he wants a kiss.
We’ve been celebrating Halloween long before this Saturday night par-tay.
Four weeks ago, I broke out my Freaky Friday series. Making over my favorite candy bars with ingredients that won’t bury you with their sugar content. I made:
Chocolate Peanut Butter Date Balls

Homemade Mounds Bars (Reader’s Favorite) (Date Sweetened)

Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups (Date Sweetened)
Just because the Halloween season ends today doesn’t mean I’m done experimenting with chocolate treats.
I’m dying to try these recipes from some of my favorite bloggers:
“Rolo” Knockoffs by Angela Liddon from Oh She Glows
No Bake Vegan Twix Bars by Leanne Vogel of Healthful Pursuit
Peppermint Patties by Elana Amsterdam from Elana’s Pantry
First things first, I need to attempt to shove two terriers into Halloween costumes.
I’m guessing Zuzu will draw the short straw and end up in the tutu.
Update: Yup, poor girl. Zuzu in tutu.
